Question 1

What does GoChina actually do?

Accepted Answer

We buy goods from factories in China for importers and check them before they ship. Then we send them by sea or air, clear customs at your end and deliver to your door. You get one quote, and one company to call if anything goes wrong.

Question 2

Which countries do you deliver to?

Accepted Answer

Most of our cargo goes to Lebanon and the Middle East, and we ship to other countries too. Tell us the destination and we will quote the route.

Question 3

Do you only work with large businesses?

Accepted Answer

No. Some customers ship a single carton, others fill containers every month. Factory sourcing has a minimum order of $10,000.

Question 4

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Book a free call from the top of the page, or send what you want to import through the sourcing form. We reply within one business day with a price and dates.

Question 5

How long does sea freight take?

Accepted Answer

Sea freight takes 4 to 6 weeks door to door, depending on the destination and the season. A faster sailing can save about a week, at extra cost. Your quote gives the expected arrival date.

Question 6

How fast is air freight?

Accepted Answer

Air freight takes 3 to 7 days door to door. We can collect the same day in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Yiwu and Shanghai.

Question 7

Do you handle customs clearance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is included in every door to door quote. We prepare the export documents in China and work with licensed brokers at your end.

Question 8

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

Accepted Answer

FCL (Full Container Load) means you book the entire container, typically 20ft, 40ft, or 40ft High Cube. LCL (Less than Container Load) means your cargo shares space with other shippers. FCL is faster and cheaper per cubic meter once you exceed about 15 CBM.

Question 9

How do you find and verify factories?

Accepted Answer

Our staff live in Guangzhou and Yiwu and visit factories in person. Before we recommend a supplier, we check its certificates and its capacity, and we order a sample.

Question 10

Can I visit the factory myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We arrange the visit and come with you, so there is a Mandarin speaker on your side in the room.

Question 11

What if the product has quality issues?

Accepted Answer

We run Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI) on every order before it leaves the factory. If anything fails inspection, the goods do not ship, and we negotiate the fix directly with the manufacturer in their language. You only pay for product that meets your specifications.

Question 12

Do you handle OEM and ODM (custom products)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send us your drawings or a reference photo and we will find a factory that can make it, under your own brand if you want.

Question 13

How is pricing structured?

Accepted Answer

The quote lists the factory price, the freight, customs and duty, and our fee, each on its own line. Nothing is added when the goods arrive.

Question 14

What payment terms do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Standard terms are 30 percent deposit on order confirmation and 70 percent balance before the goods ship. For repeat clients with proven payment history, we can extend net 30 or net 60 terms on freight services.

Question 15

Which currencies and payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept USD, EUR, and major regional currencies via international wire transfer. Larger clients can also settle through letters of credit. We do not currently accept credit card or crypto for factory deposits.

Question 16

Is the freight quote a fixed price?

Accepted Answer

Sea and air freight quotes are valid for 14 days and locked once you confirm. Sourcing quotes are good for 30 days. Currency fluctuations and major fuel surcharges are the only exceptions and we will always flag those in advance.
